Billing, Cancellations, and Refunds

Organisations on Kedyou purchase "seats", which grant Tutor access to the organisation. Organisation admins can add or remove seats at any time, and seats are billed either annually or monthly.

Note: The majority of actions on this page can only be performed by Organisation admins.

Billing

Your account will be charged the subscription price either monthly or annually based on the number of seats you’ve added, with automatic renewal on the renewal date.

You can add new seats at any time from the Manage Organisation page, and they will be billed either annually or monthly from the date they were added.

Once seats are purchased, you can allocate Kedyou accounts to those seats. Kedyou accounts cannot be added to your Organisation without available seats.

You may also remove seats from the Manage Organisation page at any time. Seats that are removed will not be renewed on the next renewal date (see 'Removing Seats' below).

Removing Seats from Your Organisation

You can remove seats at any time.

If all seats are allocated to accounts, you will be asked to select which account to remove during the seat cancellation process (see 'What Happens After Cancellation?' below). The account will remain in the organisation for 30 days after seat removal or until an admin removes it. If the account is not removed within 30 days, it will be automatically removed from the organisation and will need to be re-added if required.

You can also remove accounts assigned to a seat or transfer the seat to another account (see 'What Happens After Cancellation?' below). These changes happen instantly.

What Happens After Cancellation?

Accounts remaining in an organisation without an assigned seat cannot create or join workspaces within the organisation. These accounts will have read-only access to organisation files.

Accounts that have been removed from an organisation will lose access to the organisation and its files and workspaces. They will be part of the public Kedyou environment. If the account is re-added to the organisation, access to files and workspaces will be restored.

Restarting Account Access

You can reassign a seat to a Kedyou account at any time if a seat is available. All previous access and functionality will be restored upon reallocation.

Prorated Refunds

Kedyou provides prorated refunds for subscriptions of any length in the following countries:

  • Canada
  • Denmark
  • France
  • Israel
  • Korea
  • Turkey

For the following countries, Kedyou provides prorated refunds only for subscriptions longer than 1 month and only for the renewal period:

  • Finland
  • Germany
  • Netherlands
  • Poland
  • Portugal
